coconut fibre
Coconut Fibre
Coconut fibres consist of 45% lignin and 44% cellulose. As a result, the fibres are very elastic, strong and durable. In addition to their high abrasion resistance, the fibres are also resistant to fungal and bacterial attack and can withstand months of moisture without decomposing.
How to use
Coconut fibre can be used as a base for tying up. It is also suitable as a substrate. As it does not store moisture and hardly rots, it is very suitable for moist cultivation, e.g. in terrariums or display cases.
