The transparent pots promote root growth in many species, especially in orchids or aroids. The development stage of the roots and the moisture content of the substrate can also be easily observed. Too much light and plenty of moisture can lead to algae growth in transparent pots. Better drying or the use of cover pots can quickly remedy this.
Pots have a horizontal edge reinforcement and are given stability by bars around the edges. Their base is usually flat and has several large holes. The flat shape of the base can lead to a lack of aeration, so pots should be hung up or placed on grids.
