Prima Flora Coated Binding Wire
Why do I need flexible wire ?
To allow the roots to develop properly, the plants must be firmly anchored in the pot. This isn’t always the case if the roots are damaged or after repotting. People often mistakenly pot them too deep to keep the plants from wobbling. The “eyes” don’t get any light and don’t sprout. Therefore, the plants need to be stabilized with stakes and wire until new roots have formed.
This is where the wire, together with the orchid stakes, comes in very handy. It is easy to shape, sturdy, tear-resistant, does not cut into the plant, and is available in any length. This wire is thinner than the DRAHTSPINNE (SpiderWire) and is therefore suitable for smaller plants.
